I help adults overcome childhood trauma by creating a trusting and real relationship with me where we work together to build confidence and get unstuck from old patterns, so they can have peace in the present and love themselves.

I am not a quick fix therapist. I am not just about symptom relief. I go deep with you in therapy. I'm not here for superficial talk therapy—I’m here to help you dive deep and heal. I am interested in helping you to go to the past and rescuing your young self from the pain they are stuck in.

My Approach to Overcoming Trauma

I take a structured, step-by-step approach to therapy, ensuring you make meaningful progress without spending years in therapy.

1. Deep & Lasting Change

We start with weekly, 50-minute sessions for at least 3-6 months consistency is key to real transformation. (Weekly is strongly recommended at least in the beginning of therapy).

Benefits of weekly therapy:

  • Doing deep healing work instead of just venting or scratching the surface.

  • You'll stay focused, feel unstuck quicker, build momentum, and create real change.

  • Make progress faster, so you don’t get stuck in your feelings the same way you might have done in the past by checking in every two weeks or once a month.

When you are ready, we will transition to biweekly—I want you to heal, grow, and move forward.

2. Experience a Safe and Trusting Relationship Where You Feel Heard.

The foundation of healing starts with trust. When you feel safe with your therapist, you can:

  • Open up without fear of being judged, so you can safely make sense of what happened to you.

  • Have a strong therapist-client connection that fosters lasting personal transformation, not just quick fixes.

We’ll use tools like journaling, visualization, and inner dialogue to nurture and heal the wounded parts of you.

  • Recognize the different “sides” of yourself without judgment.

5. Release Trauma & The Emotions that Keep You Stuck

Once you’ve built a strong foundation, we use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help you:

  • Reduce emotional distress faster than traditional talk therapy.

  • Change negative self-beliefs and develop self-worth.

  • Stop emotional reactivity.

  • Heal attachment wounds, so you can develop healthy relationships.

With EMDR, you won’t just talk about your trauma—you’ll process and release it, so it no longer controls you.
